Summer Preview!

Summer is fast approaching and we are ready! Brayden loves being outside. He got a new little pool today and plenty of toys to go with it. Before I knew it he was splashing around like a little fish. He is growing like a weed and has a huge vocabulary (still no walking but we're getting there). His favorite words are ball, dada, mama, baby (which he calls anyone under the age of 15), NO! (while shaking a finger at you), bus (what he calls everything on wheels right now), apple, Weee (what he calls Wrigley), eyes nose ear (while he points at them), and he knows sign language for "more" (this comes in handy when eating as he has a huge appetite). He also loves to dance! Next month we get to hang out with Grandma Stella and Grandpa Pops again! We are very excited! We also can't wait for the swimming pool at our gym to open and our first visit to the zoo! Hooray for summer time!

Brayden's First Haircut!

HAPPY EASTER! Brayden had a great time celebrating Easter this year (more so than last... which he slept through). We got to celebrate with Grandma Stella and Grandpa Pops the weekend before and then we all had a sleep over at Grandma Jane and Papa Ron's house the weekend of the actual holiday. We played Wii, decorated eggs (well Elise and I did), had a great dinner and then brunch the next morning, and played with all of the treasures the Easter Bunny brought! It was a very fun weekend.

Spring Break!

Grandma Stella and Grandpa Pops came out to stay with us during Spring Break this year. We had a great time and Brayden loved hanging out with them every day. They went sledding and swinging at the park! Brayden is so lucky to have such wonderful grandparents! He is growing so fast. He cruises around the house and pulls himself up on everything. He's still an eating machine! Such a happy little boy.

Sleep over!

Brayden had a very fun sleep over with Grandma Jane and Papa Ron on Friday (while Mom and Dad had a very nice, relaxing night out)! Brayden played in the park and back yard all day! Papa Ron taught him how to use the crane to grab rocks and Grandma Jane pushed him on the swing and took him down the slide. Brayden loves being outside!
